West
Union Bank's newest checking account product is the Prime Interest Checking (PIC 2) Account,
a tiered account that pays more interest for higher minimum balances.

1
Minimum Balance: $1,000 to
$9,999.99
Interest: Annual
Percentage Yield (APY) of 0.50 % as of May 31, 2006 31, 2005. West Union Bank determines the interest rate, which may be
changed every quarter.
Tier
2
Minimum Balance: $10,000 and
$49,999.99
Interest: The
interest rate will be 35% of the New York Prime as published in the money
rates section of the Wall Street
Journal and may change every month.
Tier
3
Minimum Balance: $50,000 +
Interest: The
interest rate will be 45% of the New York Prime as published in the money
rates section of the Wall Street
Journal and may change every month.
•Interest
will be compounded and credited to your account every month.
•$1,000 minimum deposit is required to open a Prime Interest Checking
Account.
•You can write a limited number of checks from the account without
penalty, meaning you can access your interest bearing funds without making
a trip to the bank.
•Transfers from a Prime Interest Checking account to another account
or to third parties by preauthorized, automatic, or telephone transfer are
limited to six per statement cycle with no more than three by check or
similar order to third parties.
•A Service Charge Fee of $5.00 per transaction will be charged for
each withdrawal in excess of the limitations listed above, during a
statement cycle. If the limit restriction is violated more that once, the
account must be closed and reopened as a Statement Savings Account.
•If you close your account before interest is credited, you will not
receive the accrued interest.
